AGE GROUP: 4-8 YEARS OLD

Food consumption frequency

  • 1-2 serving of fruits
  • 1-2 serving of vegetables
  • 2-3 servings of dairy
  • 4-5 servings of grains (ideally whole grains)
  • 2-3 servings of fat
  • 6-7 glasses of liquids (tea, milk, soups, beverages), of which 4-5 are water
  • 3 servings of legumes (each serving is about 90-120 grams of cooked legumes)
  • 2-3 servings of white and red meat (each serving is about 60-90 grams)
  • 4-7 eggs
  • 2-3 servings of fish or seafood (each serving is about 90-120 grams)
